The single phase SWER line main supply near the build site was insufficient to provide power for the 3-phase requirements of the home, and the main supply was unable to be upgraded economically.
Odonata Foundation needed a small off-grid solar system to power the Rangers Office, which was mostly used during the day.
Robert & Sue had their original system installed with us in March 2015, and when they decided to build another home on the same property they contacted us to provide a new off-grid system to power it.

This clifftop, rammed earth residence on Kangaroo Island had an existing standalone power system that was insufficient for the required power.
This tiny island off Flinders Island in the Bass Strait was an exciting adventure for our team to provide off-grid power to the only cabin on the island.
Their 3Ph workshop had been running on a 20kVA Kubota generator for 5 years and they were looking at around $100,000 to connect their property to the mains grid.
Because mains power wasn’t within the vicinity, it would have been extremely expensive to connect to the property. The customer was also very keen to be as environmentally friendly as possible.
Keith wanted a small off grid system for a shed, to run 4 hi bay LED lights, hand power tools, and a few trickle battery chargers.
The client needed power for a farm shed, to supply basic needs like the fridge, lights, and a water pump and was happy to run any occasional larger loads directly from the generator.

Budget and space were two main drivers for this off-grid system design, given that this was a tiny home in design and construction phase.

While the site had grid power available, it wasn’t adequate for the power needed by the new eco villas
Lobethal Rd Wines were expanding their winery but couldn’t rely on their existing old off grid system, which was too small and fading fast.
