Between Mark and Greg I have been extremely happy with their advice and professionalism throughout the process. Would highly recommend their work to anyone. Mark took the time to complete our load survey accurately and ensure system was sized correctly. He also came up with multiple pricing options for us and allowed us to choose. I was thrilled with Greg’s efforts he was very tidy in his work and completed it through some difficult weather also. As we will be relying on this system to power our new home off the grid we wanted something of good quality. It’s been up and running for a year now and it is PERFECT! My wife cooked a 3 course meal using a big belling induction stove with 4 ovens on a dark and dingy weekend and we dipped the batteries down to 80%! That recovered by mid-morning the next day. When I met Mark I told him I did not want anyone to have to think about being off grid. I want power whenever we need it and I don’t want a generator backing it up … Job done! Works brilliantly. I have recommended the company to many individuals that have been on our farm trips.

I thought the audit process was great, taking the time to go through each room in our house plan to work out what the likely power requirements were throughout the year. Was great how we could easily have a look at how much the system would change if we wanted to go fully solar or rely on generator more often. I felt the advice provided was excellent and am really looking forward to being able to use this system properly once our house is completed! Very professional job, was impressed with how much attention to detail they provided. Dad commented on how much effort they put into clean up, the place was cleaner when they left than when they got there! Also really friendly, personable guys who made you feel confident and happy with the job they were doing. From the initial meeting with Mark until installation was about 18 months so the tech had changed a bit in that time, so Mark suggsted some changes to the products which even saved me money! Communication is very important to me and Mark and Claire were excellent at this, with very prompt replies to emails. Mark was very helpful when I was trying to get a shed manufacturer to approve the installation of solar panels.

Mark made comprehensive investigation of our needs and designed a suitable system inside our price range. Other companies did not go to the trouble of looking at our needs and lost interest when I mentioned that we had a limited budget. The first question from your company was .. how much power do you use/need .. others started with the sales pitch and were unable to answer specific technical questions. Great communication – good value.

Direct, no nonsense service. A good team, and Mark and Greg in particular, were easy to talk to and provided excellent information that wasn’t shrouded in mystery or hyped up. Actually everyone we have met who works for Off-Grid Energy has been easy to get along with. We feel we have chosen a solid, well-built system using some of the best components available presently and having a choice of being able to select some good locally made components as well. The information was provided without the ‘hard sell’ and presented in a form that allowed us to understand (as much as we can!) the system and its potential. We also understand that help, should we need it, is only a phone call away.

The consultant travelled from Adelaide to Port Lincoln just to have a chat with us & look around our property. This marked very high in our minds. The install team were fantastic. Didn’t stop working (only to have lunch) I think they left our shed cleaner than they arrived! Would highly recommend Off-Grid Energy Australia to anyone interested in stand alone power.

The installed system has been working as intended and the power bill has dropped by hundreds of dollars. Using the battery at peak times works for us well. If we have a guest here, they use peak rates, but that was expected. Ken is very pleased with his concept and how well it works for us.

We approached Off Grid Energy in 2023 in regards to putting our aquaculture business onto solar/batteries, from the moment we engaged with them they have been excellent to deal with over a range of questions and scenarios. We agreed to go ahead with the project after speaking with Aaron and getting his expert advice on what design and supply we needed to transition from dedicated 24/7 genset to 2/3 integrated solar/battery system. The installation couldn't have been easier and from day 1 the whole team worked seamlessly together to achieve an excellent result not only on workmanship but cleanliness of the site once finished. We are now saving up to 2/3 of our fuel usage which saves us around 120 litres of diesel per day on average.

I just wanted to reach out and say thank you for all your support along the way with our off grid energy system. At the beginning with the initial system selections your patience with our lack of solar knowledge and ability to share yours was fantastic. The overall process was really easy thanks to you and your team with a very easy clear communication line from start to finish. The final installation is of a very high standard and we couldn't be happier with how the team went about it and the end result. Our local electrician stated he has seen a number of different solar installs from various suppliers with yours being of the highest standard with an outstanding attention to detail.
