Grid Support, or Augmentation, Systems are designed for properties where the existing grid supply simply can't provide enough power for the way the home or business needs to operate. A solar and battery system works alongside the grid to supply the additional power required, effectively filling the shortfall during periods of higher demand. This can help support larger appliances, machinery, workshops, electric heating, EV charging and other high-load equipment without relying solely on the available grid capacity. In some cases, the system can also increase the usable phase capacity of the property, allowing a single-phase supply to support three-phase loads. It's an ideal solution where upgrading the grid connection is difficult, expensive or impractical.
