Off-Grid Energy Australia’s Essential Solar System requires a small amount of space and fits neatly in your utility shed. The Essential Power basic off-grid solar system is pre-wired, programmed, and assembled in our workshop, ready for installation. Solar panels can be mounted on your roof or on adjustable ground frames.
Each of our off-grid stand-alone solar systems incorporates;
- highly sophisticated inverter/charger technology
- one or multiple solar inverters with maximum power point tracking (MPPT)
- deep cycle sealed gel batteries, or lithium ion batteries
It will utilise any combination of

We will install one or more solar inverters with Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) as well as deep cycle sealed gel, or lithium ion batteries. These components can use any combination of solar panels, wind turbines, micro-hydro or fuel generators, depending on what your family and property needs are.

Further Cost Considerations
Rebates
Federal government rebates exist for eligible applicants, ranging from $1,700 – $30,000 depending on how much renewable energy is included in the final system.
Renewable Energy Fraction
Maximising your renewable energy sources will minimise ongoing generator costs.
Equipment Placement:
For sites that do not have a suitable enclosure to house our AdaptUnit then the EnergyBox might be required at an additional cost.
Off-Grid Power System Load Profile
To accurately design your ideal off-grid solar system and provide you with a quote, we need to understand your property’s power usage.
We do this by asking you to complete an Energy Load Profile in which you list all the appliances and utilities that use power with an estimate of their usage amount. Once this is completed, we can recommend the best system design and size for you.
